We went back to Space Mountain because it was Ellie's favorite and it stopped in the middle of the ride and all the lights came on and we had to walk down! We were all so sad because the park was closing in 10 minutes! Anyway this is what Space Mountain looks like with the lights on!

The reason we went to California on such short notice was my mom recently found some of her cousins on Facebook and they wanted to get together because they haven't seen each other for like 30 years.     Madison lets the middle school kids run cross country with the jr high and high school kids to get practice. I was really excited when Syd wanted to run with her friend Janae. They did so good and improved every race they ran. Great job Syd!

    We got a new puppy about a month ago. The girls love to take pictures of him, i think Ellie took these. Lily is looking in wondering why there is a puppy in the house and she is not.     All three of the girls did their first triathlon today! They all did so good! There were 3 age groups and since it was the first one our group has put together, it was decided that we would not time the kids.  Mazie joined a ballroom dance team this winter and this was her "Cotton Eyed Joe" picture. She did a great job at the performance. It was so fun to watch, there were about 200 ballroom dancers - amazing!

This is the actual spelling list Ellie brought home today. I did not alter it in any way, I couldn't have made this up, I'm not that funny.    I sure didn't get many good pictures yesterday. Ellie was a lion, Mazie was Wednesday, and Sydney and her friend dressed up as thing one and thing two. You can't really tell in this picture. She was parting all night with her friends.This is the first year I didn't dress up. I was a party pooper!

   Ellie had her first soccer game on Saturday. They actually played two games, they lost the first and won the second! I was so glad it ended up that way!     I am the luckiest! I got to spend lots of time with my closest friend this past week. We went to two concerts, pigged out like crazy at the fair and we got to see Saurey get blessed this past Sunday.    We went to the Poison concert at the fair in Blackfoot last week! Thanks to Greg, Julie, Danny and all of their family for the rockin time! It was so much fun! We got close enough to see the wrinkles on CC and Brett Michaels! The music was soooo great- oh the memories, I was back in Jr High again! It was so awesome!Thanks Greg, you ROCK!

    We had to go camping one last time. We slept on the boat at Ririe Friday night. Then we had lots of fun Saturday - all day! Mazie tried to wake board and wake surf. She did great! We all had fun fun fun!

Last night was my mom and dads anniversary so I decided to make them a nice dinner at our house. Mazie and Ellie wanted to help, they wanted to be the "waitresses".     We had a family reunion at Leo Carillio state beach in Malibu. Aside from one ambulance trip, I think it was a success. You'll have to ask RJ about his ride.

    We camped at the beach in Malibu. We went to the beach everyday, even when it was chilly. The kids could not get enough of the waves. They mostly body surfed and boogie boarded. What a fun week.

 After the congress, Joe came down to Bountiful and picked us up. We started heading south towards the family reunion. Here we are stopping to take in the beautiful view close to the Grand Canyon.
